ANM plans to close state offices, leaving only 11-Header

The National Mining Agency (ANM) informed that the agency will undergo structural changes soon. In informative material, it was highlighted that the current scenario of the agency, in which the reduced staff of employees and the impossibility of new competitions are visible, requires alternatives that present improvements for the institution, and that optimize the national management process.

Among the main changes announced is the closure of state headquarters. According to the agency, the current 25 state headquarters of the ANM will be transformed into 11 regional units.

Such units would be located in Amazonas, Pará, Ceará, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Bahia, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Santa Catarina. In Minas Gerais, the offices of Patos de Minas and Poços de Caldas would be extinguished, and only the office of Governador Valadares would be maintained. The offices in Itaituba (PA) and Criciúma (SC) would also be maintained.

This change in the structure, according to the agency, will make it possible to equalize the regional units with the same structure and the same positions. In addition, the changes also have a "transversal" operation, with unified work processes. Such action would allow for more efficient, effective action with greater and better internal and external results.
